It's the story of the people who love them, the men they become and the world they inherit. It started out as a book about dogs, and they're still in it too. |

| I'm working on my first book of fiction. I've written poetry for over 25 years, and some short fiction. They say that poets can't write novels. So I'm throwing myself against the fortifications of that insidious abstraction, in what has become a very long seige. An historic guerilla occupation of hostile territory. |
